Obituary

Harbit Hall, age 66, of Big Ben Locust Road, Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg. Born April 6, 1949, in Pike County, he was a son of Zander Lee and Josephine Bray Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Dixie Hall; one sister, Katrina Perez; and a half- brother, Carlos 'Dickie' Hall. He is survived by two daughters, Wendy Luster and Jessica Carroll, both of Harold, Kentucky; four sons, Harbit Hall Jr., Tenerle Hall, and Frank Hall, all of New York, and Jesse Hall of California; two brothers, Greg Hall of Hillsboro and Billy Hall of Flemingsburg; a half-brother, Corbit Hall of Harold, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends. Harbit was a coal miner and self-employed carpenter who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding 4-wheelers. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Hall Cemetery in Hillsboro with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating.
