Gregory A. 'Greg' Pennington, age 51, of Swift Street, Morehead, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at his residence. Born June 8, 1964, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of the late Zules 'Dude' and Audrey Slone Pennington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bobby Vernon Pennington, Roger Pennington, Ronald Edward Pennington and twin brothers, Timmy and Tommy Pennington. Greg is survived by his daughter, Megan Nicole Pennington of Jeffersonville; three brothers, Billy Pennington, Gary Jay Pennington and wife Joann, and Jack Pennington and wife Diana, all of Morehead; one sister, Betty Jean Barker of Morehead; several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Greg was a construction worker and enjoyed hunting and riding four-wheelers. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Cemetery, Route 711, in Rowan County. Pallbearers will be Terry Barker, Steve Barker, Jamie Pennington, Tony Pennington, Darrin Pennington and Brent Gregory. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
