Glennis Ray -Bill- Dehart, age 64, of Shattuck, Oklahoma, a native of Rowan County, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 15, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 8, 1944, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Chester Arthur and Lyda Matthews Dehart. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Glennis Ray Dehart, Jr.; four brothers, Kenneth, Vencil, Jimmy, and Vercil Ivan Dehart, and three sisters, Linda Faye Dehart, Amanda Jane Slone, and Luwanda Merle Slone. Survivors include a son, Michael Ray Dehart; two brothers, Cledith Dehart and Cleo Dehart, both of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Lois Whitt of Springfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2008, at the Fraley Cemetery on Kegley Ridge with the Rev. Lonnie Conn officiating.
