Glenna L. White Workman, age 77, of Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born February 23, 1933, in Clearfield, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clyde Vernon White and Bertie E. Caudill White. Her husband, Herman Workman, preceded her in death on January 11, 2006, and a daughter, Pamela Workman Patrick on April 28, 1996. Glenna is survived by one daughter, Vicki Workman of Morehead, Kentucky; one son, Steve Workman of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one son-in-law, Richard Patrick of Morehead, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Darya Thompson of Morehead, Kentucky, Nikki Workman and Nixon Workman, both of Paris, Kentucky. Other survivors include one sister, Wanda Mae Carpenter and husband Norman of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers, Chester White of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Lloyd D. White and wife Taeko of Georgetown, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Glenna was a graduate of Morehead High School and retired from the Clearfield Post Office after 40 years of service. She was an active member of the Golden Agers and Progressive Homemakers Club. Glenna also enjoyed participating in the Senior Olympics and watching U.K. basketball. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Max Molihan and the Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Clearfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Patrick, Rodney Profit, Danny Collins, Steve Workman, Nixon Workman, and Howard Hall, Jr. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
