Glenna Greene Mills, 71, of Christ Church Apts., Lexington, formerly of Morehead, passed away December 24, 2014, at her residence of natural causes. Born April 29, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Ted and Mary Carter Greene. She is survived by one son, Duane (Cassandra) Boggs of Lexington; one grandson, Mitchell Boggs of Lexington; one brother, Theo (Rose) Greene of Smyrna, Tennessee; three sisters, Ruth Blair of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rosemary (Dick) Wierman of Endwell, New York, and Janie (Steve) Dunn of McDonough, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Glenna served more than twenty years as an administrative assistant to the dean of the College of Business at Morehead State University. An avid reader, Glenna was also an accomplished pianist and organist. She was a devout Christian and a loving, dedicated family member. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Rick Stone at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Lee Cemetery, where Glenna will be laid to rest next to her parents.
