Glenn Hall, age 83, of Keeneland Drive, Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at St. Joseph HealthCare in Lexington.
Born March 24, 1936, in Menifee County, he was a son of the late Troy Glenn Hall and Eura Gladys Lawson Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Franklin Hall in 2003.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Workman Hall, whom he married December 28, 1974; two sisters, Helena Mae Evans and husband Richard of Fairland, Indiana, and Dee Anna Blevins and husband Bobby of Clearfield; three nephews, Robert Alan Blevins, Darren Lee Evans, and Greg Evans; a host of great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Glenn retired in 1999 from Harold White Lumber Company as a sawyer for more than 25 years. His lumber company career began in 1956 with Ray L. White Lumber Company and was a former employee of Menifee Lumber Company.
He was a member of Johnson First Church of God and enjoyed attending church, fishing, and hunting.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Hatfield and Pastor Ben Furman officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Holbrook, David Nutter, and his nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
