Glen Lee Blankenship, age 56, of Jacks Drive, Wellington, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at his residence. Born June 5, 1959, in West Liberty, he was a son of the late Charles Calvin and Burnace Lewis Blankenship. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Andy, and Jackie Blankenship, and one sister, Kathy Blankenship. Glen is survived by four children: Jeff Blankenship of Ocala, Florida, Jennifer Blankenship of Lexington, Russell Purvis and Tonya Blankenship, both of Owingsville; one sister, Linda Blankenship Mullins of Wellington; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was a farmer. Glen enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Greg Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenship - Moore Cemetery in West Liberty. Pallbearers: Russell Purvis, Chester, Mullins, Dexter Mullins, Michael Mullins, Dustin Mullins, C. J. Mullins.
