Gladys Evelyn Kidd Moreland of Tanbark Road, Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born September 29, 1928, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Minnie Dixon Kidd. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Kidd and Stanley Kidd, and two sisters, Irene Luebkeman and Patty McIntosh. Her husband, Frank Thomas Moreland, Jr., passed away October 9, 1988. Mrs. Moreland is survived by two daughters, Cynthia M. Autilio and husband Anthony of Marsico Nuovo, Italy, and Kimberly M. Osborne and husband Michael of Lexington, Kentucky, and two grandchildren, Erica Rose Autilio and Cole Thomas Osborne. Other survivors include three sisters, Jewell Carr and Hazel Sparkman, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and Charlotte Russell of Salt Lick, Kentucky. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday, January 2, 2012, from noon until 2 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
