Gertrude Carpenter Wilson, age 90, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Windsor Care Center in Mount Sterling.

Born September 25, 1930, in Bath County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Monroe Carpenter and Annie Marie Wilson Carpenter.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Rollie, Irvin, Lee, Clyde, Arnold and Jess Carpenter, and four sisters, Helen Kline, Pearl Vice, Ida Baker, and Faye Mesenbrink.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Gertrude was a homemaker, former A. O. Smith employee, and member of Spring Street Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Spring Street Baptist Church followed by a funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. with Brother Jesse Kline officiating.

Burial will be in the Carpenter Cemetery in Bath County on Friday, November 6, 2020.
