Gertrude Katherine Myers Farrow, age 89, of Sunset Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Pioneer Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She was born July 17, 1923, in Mason County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Norman and Isabell Hamilton Myers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Farrow, who passed away April 21, 1988, and a daughter, Evelyn Graham on September 25, 2001. Mrs. Farrow is survived by two sons, Melvin Farrow and Dee of Lexington, Kentucky, and Harley Albert Farrow and Candy of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; three daughters, Donna Morgan and Joel of Kingston, Alabama, Ruby Hart and Bruce of Florence, Kentucky, and Nina Pollitt and Jackie of Hillsboro, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Farrow was a homemaker and member of Hillsboro Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jackie Pollitt, Rodney Emmons, Bruce Hart, Joel Morgan, Stevie Call, James Graham, Melvin Farrow, and John Barnes.
