George Douglas Lilly, Jr., age 59, of Morehead, and formerly of Madisonsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at U.K. St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He was born February 11, 1965, in Blue Island, Illinois, and is the son of Jill Ann Bowen Lilly of Troy, Texas, and the late George Douglas Lilly, Sr.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Borcher on November 11, 2011.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Tyler Ann Lilly of Mortons Gap, Kentucky; four stepsons, Timothy Devere of Morehead, John Borcher of Newton, Iowa, James Stokes of Henderson, Kentucky, and Joe Borcher of Michigan; and two grandchildren, Jordan Devere and Benjamin Fugate.

Also surviving are three sisters, Suzane Marie Bosler of Huber Springs, Arkansas, Donna Robinson of Sand Marcos, California, and Joelle Johnson of Troy, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family.

George served in the U.S. Navy for four years and was a radioman while serving. He was a former chef and journeyman for General Motors Company. George loved fishing, playing video games, and most of all, enjoyed his family. He will be greatly missed.

At Geroge's request, there will be no visitation or services held.
