George Washington Bush, 92, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the home of his daughter in Morehead. Mr. Bush served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a long-time employee of C&O Railroad, finishing his career as a conductor on Amtrak. Born February 22, 1924, in Siloam, KY, he was a son of William and Lydia May Allen Bush. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Nickel Bush; a son; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by a daughter, Carla B. (Bud) Salyer of Morehead; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. At his request, private services will be held at Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, KY. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, KY, is caring for arrangements.
