Geneva Easterling Kidd, age 83, of Blairs Mill, West Liberty, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015, at her residence. Born October 30, 1931, in Morgan County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Crystal Nickell Easterling. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Emerson and Reginald Easterling, and three sisters, Marie Easterling and infant twin sisters. Geneva's husband, Dennis Kidd, passed away on July 10, 2009, and their son, Donnie Kidd, on May 16, 1954. Mrs. Kidd is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Lorraine Lewis and husband Danny of Wrigley; two sisters, Mae Perry of Detroit, Michigan, and Wanda Flannery of West Liberty; extended family; and friends. She was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother, and member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with William Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery at Blairs Mill. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
