Gary Lee Riley, age 74, of Hwy 519, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at his residence.

Born August 6, 1950, in Carter County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William and Zola Fultz Riley.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Riley and Larry Riley, and one sister, Clista Riley Adkins.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Gloria Easton, two boys who called him Pappy and Dad, Jason Hunt and Ryan Crawford; four brothers, Oscar Riley, Carl Riley, Donnie Riley, and Allen Riley, all of Morehead; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Gary was well known for his singing and guitar playing with Heirs of Faith, in person and on their many C.D.s.  He was a former lumber grader for White's Lumber Company, Harold White Lumber, and Booge Armstrong Lumber Company. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cecil Ison officiating.  Burial will follow in Fultz Cemetery on Bethel Ridge in Carter County.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation for Gary Lee Riley will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
