Obituary

Gary Ray Lambert, age 69, of Fallen Timber Branch, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born May 29, 1944, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late William 'Bill' Lambert and Laura Etta Hall Lambert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Lambert and Wardson Lambert. Also, a daughter, Daphane Gail Lambert, preceded him in death in 1967. Gary is survived by his wife, Betty Lela Davis Lambert, whom he married February 22, 1964; two daughters, Rhonda Bernice Amons and husband Phillip of Portland, Tennessee, and Stephanie Louise Emond and husband Lance of New Boston, Michigan; four grandchildren, Samantha and Shelby Amons, and Tyler and Conner Emond; and three great grandchildren, Braxton, Bryce, and Taegen Amons. Other survivors include three brothers, Asa Lambert and Paul Lambert, both of Taylor, Michigan, and Larry Lambert of Elliottville, Kentucky; two sisters, Naomi Sesco of Crestline, Ohio, and Virginia Pennington of Morehead, Kentucky; extended family members and friends. Gary was a car inspector for Con-Rail for 25 years and following retirement worked in telecommunications and later became a Wal-Mart employee. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Gary was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Audie Lambert, Steve Davis, Larry Sesco, Scott Napier, Joe Easter, and Jason Wright. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, July 19, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment: Lambert Cemetery
