Gary Dean Jennings Harris, age 45, of Rock Hill Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born March 12, 1967, in Wayne County, Michigan, a son of Mary Jewell Jennings Gregory of Clay City, Kentucky, and raised as a son by his aunt and uncle, the late Delmas Harris and Mary Jane Jennings Harris Mauk. A brother, Grover Owens, also preceded him in death. Besides his mother, Gary is survived by four brothers, Ralph Owens of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Lloyd and wife Naomi Harris of West Liberty, Kentucky, Ronnie Harris of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Douglas and wife Brenda Harris of Clearfield, Kentucky; four sisters, Tammy and husband David Brown of Farmers, Kentucky, Jeannie Nesbitt of Clay City, Kentucky, Joyce and husband Ernie Warman of Flemings burg, Kentucky, and Helen and husband James Donathan of Morehead, Kentucky. Gary was an auto mechanic. Graveside services and interment will take place 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Jennings Cemetery, Oak Grove Road, Morehead, with Bro. Robert Kidd officiating.
