Obituary

Gary Phillip 'Hank' Brickles, age 64, of Bullfork Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. He was born June 29, 1950, in Carter County, a son of the late Virgil and Elise Lewis Brickles. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Vangel and Raymond Brickles, and two sisters, Phyllis Wilson and Carolyn McCleese. He is survived by two daughters, Montenia Collins of Cleveland, Ohio, and Melissa Bair and husband Stephen of Soldier, and three grandsons, Stephen Bair, Jr., Shane Bair, and James Collins. Also surviving are five brothers, Larry, Ollie, Dewey and Gary Lester Brickles, all of Morehead and James Brickles and wife Barbara of Olive Hill; four sisters, Geneva Johnson of Wayne, Michigan, Clarice Epps and husband Bob and Justine Brickles, all of Lansing, Michigan, and Nadine Cole and husband Pete of Fleming County, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Hank was a farmer and had worked for the Pecco's. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in Manning Chapel Cemetery in Carter County. Pallbearers: T. J. Brickles, Doug Lawhorn, David Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Shane Bair, and Stephen Bair, Jr. Visitation is 5 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Monday, January 19, 2015, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Interment: Manning Chapel Cemetery, Carter County
