Obituary

Gail Bush Morris, age 74, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born March 17, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Bush and Golden Alexander.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Ray Morris, and a sister, Sandra Abner.

She is survived by a daughter, Kendra Henderson (Troy) of Olive Hill; a son, Kenneth Ray Morris (Donna) of Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Derrick Ray Morris and Alexandria Gail Henderson; one great granddaughter; a niece Linda Gayle Abner of Lee County; and her pet Border Collie, Bandit.

Gail was a former employee of Cowdens Manufacturing and was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed bird watching, quilting, working word search puzzles, and especially spending time with her granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Adam Foster officiating.  Burial will follow in Henderson Family Cemetery on Hwy 955, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351
