She was secretary and bank teller at Citizens Bank and Secretary at Wolford Insurance and the C. Roger Lewis Insurance Agency. A member of the First Church of God for 78 years, Fyrl taught adult Bible classes for 50 years. Fyrl was an inspiration and mentor to all who knew her. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law who showed others the real meaning of life. Fyrl was a pillar of strength who always had a smile on her face and never seemed to let the weight of the world get her down. She was generous with her love and lifted up everyone she knew. She could wow you with her quick wit and sharp sense of humor and always had some level-headed advice for any problem presented to her. Fyrl always had a pot on the stove and an extra place at the table for any visitors that might be hungry and in need of good conversation. She was knowledgeable on many subjects and loved reading, feeding the birds, playing with her flowers and most of all taking care of her family. Her body may be gone but she will always be with us.
