Franklin Carl Hunt, age 83, of Oregon Road, Rural Celina, Ohio, formerly of Fleming County, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018, at his residence. Born March 18, 1935, in Elizaville, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ernest Hinton Hunt and Irene Myers Evans. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son and daughter: David E. Hunt and Barbara Ann Deaton. On July 10, 1954, he was united in marriage to Bessie Jean Harris Hunt, who passed away March 19, 2003. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa and husband Tony Brooks of Celina, Ohio, and Carol Bryant of Greenville, Tennessee; two sons, Douglas and wife Wanda Hunt of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Frank D. Hunt of Beattyville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Other survivors include three brothers, Ernest Hunt of Maysville, Kentucky, James Oscar Hunt of Tollesboro, Kentucky, and Bobby Joe Hunt of Georgetown, Ohio; four sisters, Margorie Vinyard of Knoxville, Tennessee, Agnes Rash of Maysville, Kentucky, Linda Kirk of Ewing, Kentucky, and Brenda Kirk of Georgetown, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. He was a former grain elevator feed supplier and enjoyed his pets, fox hunting, coon hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed time spent with them. He was of the Christian faith. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Joe Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
