Frances Marie Fisher Wallace, age 85, of Pretty Ridge, Morehead, KY, passed away the 28th of June 2021, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

Frances was born September 4, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late John "Frank" Fisher and Anna "Helen" Grimmelsman Fisher.

Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Sylvon "Pete" Wallace on the 12th of December 2012; three daughters, Stephanie Elaine Wallace in 1973, Cynthia Lynn Wallace Burke in 2011, and Michelle Lee Inez Wallace Lewis Hunt in 2014.

She was also preceded in death by 5 sisters, Helen Bayersdorpher, Ruth Hill, Shirley Vincent, Carol Fisher and Mary Rose Fisher. Frances had 2 brothers who died at birth, one of which was her twin.

Frances is survived by 4 of her children, Susan Wallace Mckinney (Steve), Jeffrey Allen Wallace (Lisa), Sandra Ann Wallace Muse (Dennis), all of Morehead and Gregory Scott Wallace of Owingsville, KY.

Other survivors are 3 sisters, Marlene Fisher Lintz, Joyce Fisher Smith, and Diana Fisher Smith, all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Frances also has 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; 2 great-great grandchildren with 1 on the way.  And lest we forget, her baby dog Lilbit.

Frances started working in the kitchen at St. Claire Medical Center in 1973 and shortly thereafter she applied for a position in surgery and became a certified operating room technician where she worked for 28 years until she retired in 2000. Frances loved her family, bingo, yard sales, selling Avon, and her old friends from work.

Frances will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Following the services, burial will be at the Wallace Cemetery on Hwy 1274.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Dwayne Mckinney, Jeffrey Wallace, Dalton Wallace, JD Mynhier, Derek Wallace, and Daniel Wallace.

Visitation for Frances will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
