Fay Pauline Williams Evans, age 83, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born March 15, 1929, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Stone Williams. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Williams, Ruth Plank, and Violet Pendland, and two brothers, Harold Williams and Arley Williams. Her husband, John Fields Evans, preceded her in death in 1974. Fay is survived by her loving son, Chris Evans of Morehead, Kentucky, and many devoted nieces and nephews, including those whom she helped raise-Don Maher, Pat Maher, and Allison Maher Stern. Fay was a loyal St. Claire Regional Medical Center employee from 1962 when she helped Dr. Louise and others prepare the hospital for opening until her retirement in 1997. Fay was an EKG technician and assisted in the hospital pharmacy. A very outgoing person, she was an avid U.K. fan and loved traveling, eating out, and being with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Green, Mike Caudill, Tim Brown, Rodney Jewell, Vernon Estep, Eric Maher, and Justin Maher. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Sunday, April 1, 2012, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Monday, April 2, 2012, at 1 p.m. Interment: Evans Cemetery, Cranston Road
