Everett Perry Switzer, age 43, of North Limestone, Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, at his residence. He was born July 31, 1969, in Galion, Ohio, a son of Madlyen Carol Jennings Pennington of Georgetown, Kentucky, and the late Burley Thomas Cecil 'Bubby' Switzer. Everett is survived by his wife, Beverly Switzer; two sons, Jonathan Simmons and Josh Simmons, both of Hazard, Kentucky; one daughter, Amber Wilhoit of Frankfort, Kentucky; two stepsons, Shawn Brookover and Jason Brookover, both of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and several grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Tommy Switzer of West Virginia, Steve Switzer of Morehead, Kentucky, Bill Brown of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Derrick Emerine of Findlay, Ohio; three sisters, Tonya Brooks of South Carolina, Kelley Ard of Findlay, Ohio, and Madlyen Cook of Georgetown, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Everett was a handyman and owned a cleaning service. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev.
