Everett Lee Mabry, age 67, of Wallingford, formerly of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014, at his residence. Born April 24, 1947, in Clearfield, he was a son of the late David Willie and Magelean Smedley Mabry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Sharon Kay and Shawn Marie Mabry; one brother, Wilson Junior Mabry; one infant sister; and three infant brothers. Everett is survived by his wife, Kathy Louise Morris Mabry, whom he married February 15, 1968; one daughter, Kathy Le-Ann Pool and husband Matthew of Morehead; and three grandsons, Isaac Lee Watson, Max Allen Pool, and Eli Matthew Pool. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Franklin Mabry, Glennis Mabry, Lottie Richardson, and Betty Purnell, all of Clearfield, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Everett served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the KY National Guard Company E, 206th Engineer Battalion. He was a former mechanic for Ken-Mor Stone in Olive Hill and Pack's Inc. and B & B Rental in Morehead. Immediately prior to retiring, he worked for Big Store Furniture. Everett loved working on small engines at his home garage before being diagnosed with cancer on August 4. He was a board member of the Crix Cemetery Association. Everett was of the Free Will Baptist faith and attended Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church and Salt Lick Free Will Baptist Church Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Lands and Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Crix Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post 126. Legion members will also serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Tuesday, August 19, 2014, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment: Crix Cemetry
