Eula Florence Debord Vise, age 81, of Hillsboro, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Born March 4, 1932, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Amos and Annabelle Thornsberry Debord. Eula was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Johnny Russell Vise, on May 17, 1998. The two were married on January 26, 1953, in Rowan County, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings: Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Morehouse, Corda Morehouse, Laura Fraley, Rosie Campbell, Nellie Tackett, Wilda Sloan, Frankie Debord and Ivan Debord. She was blessed and loved by five wonderful children: Joyce (Rickey) Gulley of Lakeland, FL, Etta (James) Hay of Flemingsburg, KY, Johnny (Beverly) Vise, Alichia (James) Skaggs, and Mike (Lisa) Vise, all of Hillsboro, KY. Eula was blessed to have 12 grandchildren: Matt Gulley, Jon T. (Emily) Gulley, Teah Gulley, Ashley (Dave) Manco, Brad (Kayla) Hay, Jeremy (Jenny) Vise, J.C. (April) Skaggs, Krissy (Jeremiah) Logan, Brandon (Kelly) Vise, C. J. Vise, Amber (Dale) Eddington and Ashley Rigdon. He also has 16 great grandchildren: Lillie and Kaitlyn Ramka, Kate and Colton Hay, Violet Manco, Rebekah, Jared, and Benjamin Vise, Haley and J. J. Logan, Peyton and Taylor Skaggs, Dale Craig and Brooklyn Eddington, Gideon Vise and Wyatt Gulley. Mrs. Vise was a homemaker and member of Ringos Mill Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother James Hickerson, Brother Clay Miller, and Michael Shelton Vise officiating. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Matt Gulley, Jon T. Gulley, Brad Hay, Jeremy Vise, C. J. Vise, J. C. Skaggs, Brandon Vise, and Ashley Rigdon. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
