Eula Katherine Bumgardner Johnson, age 83, of Divide Hill, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born November 26, 1926, in Fleming County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Bart Bumgardner and Grace Pelfrey Bumgardner Nealey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Sherry Gayle McCarty and Anthony Wayne Willoughby; one sister, Sannah Richardson; two brothers, Marion Bumgardner and William Pelfrey; and a son-in-law, Harry McCarty. Her husband, Keenis Johnson, preceded her in death on August 2, 1992. Mrs. Johnson is survived by four daughters, Katrina McCarty of Morehead, Kentucky, Sharon McCarty and husband Gay; Pam Hollingsworth and husband Paul; and Tammy Easterling and husband Terry, all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ringos Mill Christian Church and attended the Little Mary Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elder Lonnie Gregory and the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Eldridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris McCarty, Matthew McCarty, Chris Johnson, Kip Sluss, Eddie Sluss, and Todd Johnson.
