Obituary

Eugene Fultz, age 84, of CCC Trail, Morehead, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born November 24, 1927, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Leonard Milzie and Geneva Lou Fran Fultz. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Glessie Crum Fultz in 1999; an infant son, Curtis Ray Fultz in 1962; three brothers, Billy Fultz, Allen Fultz, and John Paul Porter; and three sisters, Myrtle Fultz, Beulah Ferrell Porter, and Christine Fultz Turner. Eugene is survived by his wife, Helen Trent Fultz, whom he married August 5, 2000; three daughters, Connie Hamilton and fianc- Tom Lewis of Morehead, Kentucky; Bonnie Blevins and husband Brian of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Elizabeth 'Libby' Fultz of Owingsville, Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Alex Hamilton and Keshia Blevins Gibson and husband Dustin, all of Morehead, Kentucky. Other survivors include two sisters, Ada Purnell of Morehead, Kentucky, and Irene Champion of Strattanville, Pennsylvania; a lifelong friend, Clifford Porter of Morehead, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Eugene was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and clogging. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Karl Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at the Fultz Cemetery on Christy Creek Road, Morehead, Kentucky. Pallbearers: Brian Blevins, Karl Dickerson, Donnie Darrell, Bruce Voiles, Tom Lewis, and Alex Hamilton. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, October 19, 2012, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment: Fultz Cemetery, Lee Branch, Christy Creek Road
