Obituary

Estill Ray Eldridge, age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Maderia Healthcare Center in Madeira, Ohio.

Born March 17, 1938, in Fleming County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ray M. Eldridge and Amanda Marie Gregory Eldridge.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Eldridge and James Eldridge.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Audrey Lee Howell Eldridge, who passed away March 27, 2020.

Estill is survived by two sons: Timothy Eldridge and wife Diana of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brian Eldridge and wife Lisa of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren: Rachel Morgenthal and husband Michael, Stephanie Reinhart and husband Bradley, Steven Eldridge, and April Wiggins and husband Ethan; five great-grandchildren:  Eva Morgenthal, Oliver Morgenthal, Aidan Reinhart, River Wetzel, and Dylan Morton

Other survivors include one brother, Roger Eldridge and wife Sue of Bucyrus, Ohio, and one sister, Barbara McGlone of Bucyrus, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Estill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from February 1959 to February 1961.  He retired from the Nutone Company in Cincinnati in 1995.

Estill enjoyed being outdoors, doing yardwork, attending church, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.  He attended the United Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Eldridge Cemetery with military honors presented by Morehead American Legion Post 126.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Eldridge, Brian Eldridge, Steven Eldridge, Michael Morgenthal, Bradley Reinhart, Stephanie Reinhart, and Rachel Morgenthal.

Visitation for Estill Eldridge will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Cincinnati.
