Esther Deloris Rinehart Simmons, age 70, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away February 20, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born April 30, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Melvin and Emmogene Cottrell Rinehart. Esther is survived by her husband, James Simmons, whom she married August 16, 1963; three daughters, Jamie Justus and Jessie Richards of Columbus, Ohio, Cheryl Goltry and Richard of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Pamela Hamilton of Clearfield; two brothers and two sisters, Johnny Rinehart, Joe Rinehart, Melvina Logsdon, and Sharon Smith, all of Columbus, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Esther was a homemaker and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the Moore Cemetery on Christy Creek with the Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Pallbearers: James Justus, Jessie Richards, Arnold Moore, Issac Moore, Aaron Hamilton, and Nathan Thompson.
