Ernie D. Harding, age 61, of Big Run Road, Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born August 11, 1946, in Morgan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Ollie and Myrtle Ann Keeton Harding. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Pick Harding, whom he married on April 14, 1967; three sons, William Todd Harding of Elkhart, Indiana; Paul David Harding and wife Rustie of Wallingford, Kentucky; and Roy Lee Harding and wife Beth of Salt Lick, Kentucky; a daughter, Dani Marie Amaru, of Fallon, Nevada; seven grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Other survivors include four brothers, James Earl Harding of Benton, Kentucky; Robert Harding of Maysville, Kentucky; Arlie Dean Harding of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; and Roger Harding of West Liberty, Kentucky; and a sister, Martha Sue Harding of Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Harding served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1972. He was a former truck driver with North West Transport in Denver, Colorado, and a member of the Mt. Pisgah Christian Church. Ernie was an avid fisherman. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Run Community Cemetery in Wallingford, Kentucky. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers will be Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Friday, January 25, 2008 Funeral: Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. Interment: Big Run Community Cemetery, Wallingford, KY
