Eric Lee Martin, 45, of Redwood Lane, Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Martin; his grandfather, James Shaw; and an infant son, Mac.

Eric is survived by his wife, Krysta Martin; two children, Spencer Martin and Avery Martin, all of Morehead; his mother, Connie Barber of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two brothers, Jamie Martin of Spokane Valley, Washington, and Shane Martin of Tifton, Georgia; his grandmother, Wilma Shaw of Adel, Georgia; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Eric's faith in God directed his life path. He graduated from Cook County High School in Adel, Georgia, and received his bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University.  His career began in social services and led his professional journey over the last 20 years.

His genuine sense of caring and love was shown by how he treated people.  His love for God, family, friends, and football were reflected to anyone he met.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
