Eric Wayne Lovely, 48, of West Main Street, Morehead, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at his residence. Born April 18, 1970, in Middletown, Ohio, he is the son of Larry V. and Patricia Sergent Lovely of Morehead. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Abigail Lovely of Bloomington, Indiana, Noah Lovely and Aidan Lovely, both of Kettering, Ohio; a step daughter, Hayley Carroll of Kettering, Ohio; a brother, Lance Victor Lovely of Kettering, Ohio; a sister, Holly Marie Comley of Camden, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, the Rev. Bernard "Bernie" Lovely, Sr. and Essie McKenzie Lovely, and maternal grandmother, Edith Lewis Sergent. Eric was a student at Morehead State University studying social work and a former employee of D.O.V.E.S. of Gateway. He enjoyed the outdoors, baseball, and wrestling. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Visitation is from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
