Emma Marie Duke, beloved six-month-old daughter of Scott and LeeAnn Zepernick Duke of Hope Hill Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky, joined the Heavenly Angels on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Emma was born August 1, 2012, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and brought great joy to her parents, Scott and LeeAnn; paternal grandmother, Jennifer Murphy Duke of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Anna and Kurt Zepernick of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; paternal great grandfather, Gerald Gieseler of Nashville, Michigan; and maternal great grandparents, Libby and Vernon Martin of Camargo, Kentucky. Emma also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Michael Duke, on October 20, 2012, and paternal great grandmother, Kathy Murphy, on June 18, 2007. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Terry Frerichs officiating. Interment will follow at Goddard Cemetery in Fleming County. Pallbearers: Scott Duke, Matt Brumm, Taylor Congleton, and Kurt Zepernick.
