Emil Mabry, age 63, of Oak Grove Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born February 12, 1950, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Nola Moore Mabry. Emil is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Barbara Slone Mabry, whom he wed March 25, 1972, and three daughters, Teresa Mabry and fianc- Jonathan Barker of Grahn, Melissa Keller and husband Jameson of Lexington, and Barbara Sue Mabry and fianc- Chet Couch of Nicholasville. Other survivors include three brothers, Clyde Mabry and Herman Mabry, both of Fraley, both of Elliottville; several nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends. Emil was a retired Morehead State University physical plant employee. He was a loving husband and father who will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Crix Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
