Elnora Fay Mynhier Lambert, age 89, of Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010, at her residence. She was born June 3, 1921, at Happy, Kentucky, in Perry County, daughter of the late William Clayton and Myrtle Ellen Dennis Mynhier. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Billy Joe Mynhier and one sister, Vada Brown. Also, two sons, infant Michael Ray Lambert in 1954 and James Mitchell Lambert in 2007. Fay is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Oliver Lambert, whom she wed July 18, 1942; two sons, Anthony Lambert of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Larry and Chris Lambert of Morehead, Kentucky; four daughters, Brenda and Jim Chadwick of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Patricia and Darius Lewis, Connie and Edward Staton and Kimberly Lynn Lambert and John Hamm, all of Morehead, Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include three sisters, Blandena Donahue of Mansfield, Ohio, Jean Murray of Morehead, Kentucky, and Janet Wells of Clearfield, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews. A devoted wife, mother, and mamaw, Mrs. Lambert loved her family and home. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, quilting, canning, and gospel singing. She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Rick Stone and Rev. Winston McClurg officiating. Burial will follow in Clearfield Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
