Ellen Thornsberry Thomas, age 62, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at her residence. She was born November 18, 1949, in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Asia and Hazel Howard Thornsberry. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jason Clarke Thomas, on May 19, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Clarke William Thomas; one son, Scott Thomas and wife Melissa of Morehead, Kentucky; one stepdaughter, Lori Thomas of Valparaiso, Indiana; one sister, Linda Botts Keeton of Morehead, KY; one half-brother, Norbitt Thornsberry of Tucson, Arizona; three grandchildren, Jesse, Kaleb, and Kaitlynd; and two nieces, Angela Botts Cundiff and Heather Gibson. Ellen was an employee of Cowden Manufacturing, Big Yank, and Carhartt for more than 30 years. She loved her family, especially the grandchildren, and her dog, Precious. She was a member of Bluebank First Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin and Pastor David Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jim Cundiff, Timmy Thornsberry, Jerry Ferguson, T. J.
