Ella Mae Brown Copher, age 71, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at her residence. She was born September 1, 1946, in Morehead, the daughter of the late Fredro Brown and Josephine Black Brown Alfrey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Copher on August 7, 1992; and a sister, Jenny Jo Conley in 2012. Ella Mae is survived by four daughters: Katrina (Lloyd) Wallace of Morehead, Kandy (Lewis) Tipton of Winchester, Adina Martin of Owingsville, Edie Jo (Joey) Pelfrey of Mt. Sterling; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Hannah Wells, Dougie Wallace, Zakery Sloan, Aaron Martin, Kyle Miller, Jasper Pelfrey, Piper Pelfrey, Farah Heinze; five step grandchildren, Chad Tipton, Lacy Hatton, Robert Wallace, Amy Flannery, and Dusty Wallace. Also surviving are two brothers, Fred "Chico" Brown of Morehead and Paul C. Brown of Clearfield; two sisters, Barbara Boggs of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Jody Weaver of Wallingford; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Ella Mae was a faithful Christian woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved taking drives around the community. Ella Mae was currently a member of End Time Harvest Church and a former member of Salt Lick Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tracy Fannin officiating.
