Elizabeth Ann Sluss Fraley, 89, formerly of Morehead, KY, passed away March 18, 2014, in San Diego, CA. She was born December 17, 1924, in Bluefield, WV, to Edison Buford and Mary Elizabeth (Ward) Sluss. The family moved to Morehead in 1937. She graduated from Breckinridge Training School, class of 1942. She married Earl Scott Fraley on February 9, 1946, when he returned from WW II where he was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army 17th Airborne Division. Libby worked for many years at Cave Run Clinic in Morehead. A member of the Morehead United Methodist Church, she loved volunteering her time and talents with many organizations. In addition to her parents and husband, Libby was preceded in death by their son, Earl Scott Fraley Jr. on September 25, 2006; her brother, Carl B. Sluss; and her sister, Katherine Sluss Patrick. Libby is survived by one daughter, Vicki Lynn Rogers and her husband Mike of Marietta, GA, and one son, James Franklin Fraley, and his wife Juanita (Babe) Caudill of San Diego, CA. Her grandchildren-Shannon and Stephen Rogers, Scott, Jared, Heather and Kevin Fraley and Savannah Fraley-were very special to her as well as her great grandchildren-Marley, Charlie and Lucy Rogers, Leighann and Trevor Fraley, Jared, Jr. and Jaden Fraley. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and be in their hearts forever. A memorial service will be held in Morehead at a later date.
