Obituary

Elizabeth Trent Holloway, age 75, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011, at her residence. Born March 10, 1936, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Gladys Howard Trent. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Jean Trent Stewart, and two brothers, Omer Trent and Hobert Trent. Her husband, Johnny Emerson Holloway, whom she married August 5, 1954, passed away March 12, 1984, and a daughter, Theresa Lynn Holloway, on July 22, 2009. Mrs. Holloway is survived by one son, John Richard Holloway and his wife Lisa of West Liberty, Kentucky; one daughter, Jennifer Ann Holloway Spahn and husband Gilbert of Lexington, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Madeline Diane Spahn and Megan Elizabeth Holloway; and one grandson, John Luke Holloway. Other survivors include three brothers, Wales Trent and Cecil Trent, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and Harrison Trent, Jr. of Wayne, Michigan; two sisters, Gertrude Trent of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Shirley Faye Ramey of Morehead, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Holloway was a 25-year employee of St. Claire Regional Medical Center and attended the Clearfield First Church of God Tabernacle. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Ison officiating. Burial will follow in the Clearfield Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ted Trent, Gary Trent, Kevin Trent, Michael Trent, Jim Tom Trent, Dale Craft, and Carlos Kegley. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Wednesday, August 17, 2011, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment: Clearfield Cemetery
