Effie "Tede" Binion Holbrook, age 62, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019, at her residence.

Born September 25, 1956, in Lawrence County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James Elva Binion and Gladys Cox Binion.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Kay Binion Wallace.

Tede is survived by one son, Bruce Daniel Holbrook and Georgetta of Olive Hill; two daughters, Margina Centers and Scott of Owingsville and Marquita Ratliff and Brent of Georgetown; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Binion and Linda DeWitt of Louisville; and lifelong friend, Nancy Lewis.

Tede was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially all the grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr., and Pastor Robert Kidd officiating.  Burial will follow in Clearfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Jarrod Bledsoe, Jordan Holbrook, Dallas Middleton, Ethan Cecil, Scott Centers, Brent Ratliff, and Brian Wilburn.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
