Edward Dale Pennington, six-year-old son of James Dane Pennington and Lottie Mae Lyons, of Fall Lane, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, from injuries sustained in a fire at his home. He was born October 10, 2006, in Rowan, Kentucky, and was a kindergarten student at Rodburn Elementary School in Morehead, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, James D. Pennington of Morehead, Kentucky; two half brothers, Trey Lyons of West Liberty, Kentucky, and Raymond Bishop of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; three sisters, Jessica Sue Pennington, Ashley Dawn Pennington, and Amy Lynn Pennington, all at home; one half sister, Angel Lyons of West Liberty, Kentucky; and maternal grandmother, Gracie Rowe of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Fyffe, and paternal grandmother, Stella Pennington. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with a funeral service immediately following at 3 p.m. with Bro. Virgil Franklin Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery in Clearfield. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
