Obituary

Edward Christian Bruestle, age 90, of Greenbriar Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, at his residence. Born March 21, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Christian W. and Fannie Thatsher Bruestle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lenora M. Bruestle, in 1973, and his second wife, Leona Bruestle, in 1998. Edward is survived by two sons, Randall Bruestle of Lakeland, Florida, and Michael Bruestle of Shelbyville, Kentucky; three step sons, David Starker of Las Vegas, Nevada, Donald Starker of Dillsboro, Indiana, and Daniel Starker of Aurora, Indiana; three step daughters, Sharon Adams of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Lavonne Wilson of Middletown, Ohio, and Joan Franks of Carrollton, Kentucky; several cousins; and caregiver, Louise Evans of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Edward was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and a retired plumber and pipefitter for Local 392 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at St. John-s Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the Rev. Darrell Stelter officiating. Visitation is after 7 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Thursday, February 4, 2010, after 7 p.m. Funeral: Graveside Service Friday, February 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. Interment: St. John\'s Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio
