Edna Mae Kegley Wilson, age 64, of Old Tennessee Gas Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born March 25, 1951, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Verna Trent Kegley. She was also preceded in death by one son, Sam Wilson, who passed away March 1, 1973. Edna is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Houston Wilson, Jr.; one daughter, Lela Ann Hughes and husband Jeremy of Carlisle; one son, Clifford Wilson and wife Sharon of Morehead; and five grandchildren, Mitchell Moore, Dylan Moore, Jacob Wilson, Carissa Wilson, and Gracie Hughes. Other survivors include one sister, Tina Marie Gregory of Urbana, Ohio; one brother, Eldon Ray Kegley of Springfield, Ohio; extended family; and friends. Edna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to being a homemaker, she enjoyed taking leisurely car rides with Junior, shopping, tending to flowers, and taking care of her animals. She was baptized in the Baptist church and loved attending church as long as her health permitted. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. At Edna's request, visitation and services will be private. Pastor Tim Rhodes will officiate at the funeral. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
