Edna Dale Bussell, age 74, of Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at her daughter-s residence. Born January 12, 1937, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Fenton Clay Dale and Gladys Woodard Dale. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Dale and Raymond Dale. Her husband, Alvin Reynolds Bussell, whom she married November 19, 1960, passed away March 8, 2011. Edna is survived by one daughter, Denise Hawkins and husband Jamie of Hillsboro, Kentucky; one son, Dennis Bussell of Hillsboro, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Joshua Scott Hawkins, Kayla Raye Hawkins, Ethan Lane Hawkins, and Madison Taylor Hawkins; and one great grandson, Kevin Tyler Raye Lee. Also surviving are two sisters, Sue Everman of Winchester, Kentucky, and Lucille Bussell of Paris, Kentucky; one brother, Dennis Dale of Paris, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Edna was a homemaker and active in the Foster Grandparents Program in Hillsboro, Kentucky. She attended the Tunnel Hill Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Skaggs, Rev. Willie Skaggs, Jr., Rev. Randy Hawkins, and Rev. Adam Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Hawkins, Ethan Hawkins, Roy Fultz, Virgil Spurlock, Carl McGlone, Hugh -Bodge- Byron, Danny Crawford, and Tim Plank. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Skaggs and Adam Hawkins. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
