Edna Swing Bradway, age 95, a resident of the Life Care Center of Morehead for the past four years, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was born July 8, 1916, in Salem County, New Jersey, a daughter of George and Mary Johnson Swing. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Clyde Bradway, who passed away in 1964; one stepson, Wesley, and his son David. Mrs. Bradway is survived by her son, Arnold George Bradway of Salem, New Jersey, and his daughters Jessica Bradway of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Alana Bradway of Morehead, Kentucky, and their mother Mary Bradway of Morehead, Kentucky. Also surviving is one step-son, the Rev. Clyde Bradway and his wife Cynthia of Millville, New Jersey, and their son Timothy Bradway and daughters Sarah Bradway and Rebecca Bradway, all of New Jersey; one step-daughter, Eleanor Hanna and her husband Robert of Hershey, Pennsylvania, and their sons Robert Hanna III of Connecticut and Drew Hanna of Pennsylvania; and Wesley-s wife, Doris Bradway of Fairton, New Jersey. Other survivors include eight great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, Jeannie Allen and Misty Fannin. Mrs. Bradway, a former employee of Johnson Farms in New Jersey, moved to Morehead in 1985. She loved her family and was especially devoted to her granddaughters, Jessica and Alana. An active member of Morehead First Church of God, she enjoyed participating in the quilting circle and bingo. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
