Edmund Lynn Adams, age 66, of Parker Lane, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born January 27, 1946, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Thurman and Mary Mutters Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Brian Adams, and three brothers, Jessie Adams, Lawrence Adams, and Edwin Adams. Ed is survived by his wife, Cloa Snipes Adams; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Cindy Adams of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Jeff and Christy Adams of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mellisa and James Perry of Morehead, Kentucky, and Rhonda and Larry Skaggs of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and 15 grandchildren, Allen Adams, Spencer Perry, Brian Adams, Jacob Perry, Leeann Furnish, Jeremy Adams, Christa Furnish, Nathaniel Perry, Andrew Skaggs, Katherine Skaggs, Sarah Skaggs, Dakota Perry, Alexander Perry, Emma Adams, and Brentnee Adams. Other survivors include two brothers, Jimmy Adams and Bob Adams, both of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Connie Nantell of Morehead, Kentucky, and Illene Powell of Salt Lick, Kentucky; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, founder of Mama Joe's Pizza, owner of Viking Pay Lake, an auctioneer, a private investigator, and former law enforcement officer in Rowan County, Kentucky, and Savannah, Georgia. He was a member of End Time Harvest Tabernacle. Ed enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tracy Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers: Allen Adams, Spencer Perry, Brian Adams, Jacob Perry, Larry Skaggs, James Perry, and Kyle Johnson. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Saturday, October 27, 2012, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment: Lee Cemetery
