Edith Elizabeth Pruitt White, age 92, of Ecorse, Michigan, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at the residence of her granddaughter, Cindy Lobb. Born November 2, 1921, in Morgan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Newton Pruitt and Mary Jane Lambert Pruitt. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Morton White, who passed away May 26, 1996; one son, Charles F. White; and one daughter, Theresa Gay Sieloff. She is survived by one son, Terrence D. White and wife Beverly of Ecorse, Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Cindy Lobb, Darren Sieloff, Shawn Shaw, Matthew White, and Lisa Sikorski, all of Michigan, Mark White of New Jersey, Elizabeth Lewis, Sarah White, and Christopher White, all of Arizona, 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paris Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clearfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
