Douglas Williams, age 50, of Overlook Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, at Pearl River County Hospital in Poplarville, Mississippi. Born June 4, 1962, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he is a son of Wilma Jean Cassity Williams of Morehead, Kentucky, and the late David Lewis Williams, Sr. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher 'Chris' Williams, Sr., who passed away August 3, 2012. Doug is survived by one son, Kevin Allen Williams and wife Tamara Ann of Morehead, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Katona Jade Williams; three brothers, Kenneth Ray Williams of Clearfield, Kentucky, David Lewis Williams, Jr. of Morehead, Kentucky, Jerry Dewayne Williams of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Branita Michelle Lewis of Hillsboro, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family and many friends. Doug was an employee of Tri-Con Commercial in Poplarville, Mississsippi. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in the Cassity Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris Williams, Michael Williams, Stephen Rasche, Chris Wells, Nathan Williams, George Lewis and Walter Pittman.
