Douglas Edwin Dehart, age 36, of Conn Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in a logging accident in Elliott County, Kentucky. He was born May 31, 1970, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Thomas E. and Gracie Reynolds Dehart of Morehead. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tammy Ratliff Dehart; one son, Derek Dickerson of Elliott County; four daughters, Tara Dehart and Shawna Dehart of Greenup, Jessica Dickerson and Kendra Dehart of Elliott County; and one brother, Dwayne Dehart of Elliott County. He was a farmer and logger and attended the Porter Creek Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vaughn Thornsberry and Rev. Austin Carter officiating; burial will follow in the Dehart Cemetery on Conn Road. Pallbearers will be Kenny Cornett, Jimmy Ratliff, Tim Ratliff, David Conn, John Conn, Randy Holbrook , Ernest Ratliff, Bobby Reynolds, and Jason Whitt.
