Dorothy Hayes Wilson, age 86, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at the home of her son. She was born November 5, 1925, in Montgomery County, KY, and was the daughter of the late John and Lillian Henson Hayes. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bush Wilson. Mrs. Wilson is survived by one son, Brent (Sharon) Wilson, and one daughter, Teena (Steve) Wright, all of Mt. Sterling, KY; five grandchildren, Tyer Rankin, Tanah McGuffey, Kristy Hatton, Tiffany Wilson and Brittany Wilson; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Harris of Paris, KY. Mrs. Wilson retired as a Bell South telephone operator after 35 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Private graveside services will be conducted in Machpelah Cemetery on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, with Dan Murphy officiating.
